How to make Air Fryer Loaded Baked Potatoes

These potatoes are so easy to make in the air fryer. I never really make them in the oven because they take so long to cook. Making them in the air fryer takes less time, and won’t heat up the kitchen. To make these potatoes, you will want to first clean the potatoes and then dry them. Then, use a fork to pierce each potato four or five times, on each side, and then brush each potato with a coating of olive oil. Then, season each potato with salt and pepper to your liking, and place in the air fryer basket. Next, air fry at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for about 40-45 minutes, turning the potatoes halfway through the cooking process. I like to use parchment paper liners because they make clean up of the basket a snap. They make them both round and square, and have the holes already in them, so they are super easy to use. Once they are cooked to desired softness, remove from the basket. Cut about halfway and pull back sides of the potato to fill with desired toppings. Of course, you can add any fillings you like to the potato once they are cooked. If you are looking to make this a meal instead of a side dish, you can add chili, ground hamburger, or chopped bites of chicken or steak.

What temperature is a baked potato done cooking?

A cooked baked potato should have an internal temperature of around 205-215 degrees. Overcooking will cause the potato to be dry, so check as it’s cooking in the air fryer. MORE AIR FRYER RECIPES:
